"Some things disappear without our knowledge of their existence, vanishing without a trace, crumbling into ruins, destroyed, withering away into the sands, collapsing and facing extinction."
Silent Water is video essay that shows the abandoned remain of a Mekong giant catfish lies in a deserted fish laboratory, evoking contemplation about its past existence. As thoughts wander to the days when this legendary creature thrived, its essence persists, ready to metamorphose into legend once the dam gates are reopened.
